LEGO Icons 2024 Senna F1 Car: McLaren MP4/4 revealed!

While many Formula 1 sets are making their way into the LEGO Speed Champions and Technic lineup this year, a classic model will also be coming out in spring. Images of which have now finally been revealed!

None other than Ayrton Senna's legendary F1 car will be released as a LEGO Icons set on March 1st! More precisely, the McLaren MP4/4 will be coming out as a LEGO model.

Next to the car itself an Ayrton Senna Minifigure on a small stand with a quote is also included!

The set will consist of a total of 693 LEGO pieces and will be priced at $79.99. While the Shell logos can be found on the LEGO model, other controversial elements such as the Marlboro logos have been ditched.

It was actually rumored to be the MP4/8 at first, but later turned out to be the MP4/4. Though I didn't change the image :P. That's a little confusing now, sorry for that ๐Ÿ˜…

No you are wrong. The one in the photo is clearly MP4/4.

It actually was an image of the MP4/8 in the thumbnail until I updated the post with the revealed set images yesterday.

I'm pretty sure it's real that it's in the works. But it's still a rumor since LEGO could change their minds anytime until they officially announce it!
