What do you think about the new LEGO Lord of the Rings 2025 Bag End & GWP set? Share it in the comments!
you only get the GWP if you buy it within April 2nd and April 5th
ReplyThe more I look at it the more I start to appreciate it, but the GWP is Awful.
Replywelp, at least they tried
ReplyMy brother and I r going to buy it
ReplyThe interior is kinda cool but it doesn't justify the price
ReplyThat price is brutal
ReplyJust wish we knew the Australian price
Reply399.99 aud
are we sure its real
ReplyI saw a picture of this somewhere else and I thought it was a fan build. It looks really bad.
ReplyGiven that there are three shimneys, there should be a kitchen with a a fireplace and then one fireplace in the office/bedroom? When will they release the interior???
ReplyFor sure there is, big sets like this wont be lacking in the interior design
I hope so
looking so forward and i cant wait to buy this one!
Replylove the fence!
Replylove hobbit lego lets go
ReplyThey should vary the shades more
Replythe tree on top of bag end in this lego set isn't bringing it up to standards, the tree needs to be wqy bigger
ReplyI bought both barad dur and rivendeal, and this new lego set looks sick, but way overpriced in my opinion
ReplyToo green but looks sick
ReplyLooks really cool... a lot simpler than either Rivendell or Barad-dur, but I'd take it... for a little less coin. As always with Lego this looks like a decent deal for about half of that price. Even the initially leaked 199,99 are decent but at 269,99 it's just a bit overpriced. I'll wait for reviews and maybe a discount (or a birthday) and let the GWP slide.
ReplyI think it looks amazing and fun! I'm a die-hard LOTR fan too! I CANT WAIT
ReplyThe inside better be awesome because the outside is underwhelming. Nothing interesting about the build and the best details appear to be decals or printed bricks. Minifigs are just meh. Honestly, this is exactly what I expected when I saw the piece count. The larger model that this could have been could have included much more - more Hobbit holes, the Brandywine Bridge, etc. Maybe even a Prancing Pony side build or add-on set... Oh well, I'll still buy it on sale. Lego will win again.
Replydon't know if i will get it but it is a step up from the old one but that one in my opinion always be the superior
Replyhonestly........come on lego, they could do so much better but they dont. not to say i wont be getting this lol
ReplyWhat do you think is inside?
ReplyIt is releasing on April first though
ReplyCool build for Rivendell but don't like the fellowship minifigs
ReplyNo Ringwraith thought
ReplyGotta admit, I'm pretty underwhelmed. I know that it is going to be very hard to live up to Rivendell, which was an absolute masterclass in art and lego building technique, but this looks kind of 'meh'. I hope to see a 500$ Edoras or some ruins from Amon Hen. Something grandeur which also plays a bit more with the colours. I do get though why they didn't go for Minas Tirith - that set would probably be quite more expensive to do that city justice.
ReplyI'm not going to call it now, especially without seeing it fully listed and the final price totally confirmed. The eye check however has some issues with the tree side build, (it looks awful). The colors are pretty overwhelming with that artificial green color. Not sure, I think if it's closer to the $200 mark I can see it, but $270 is a bold move.
Replyagreed, lego should at least be able to design a half way decent tree
Not really linking that price. Remove side builds and drop to $200.
ReplyThat's what it said it was going to be
I need more images
ReplyAnd when can we get more images?
ReplyWhy is the carrot white?
ReplyI think it's supposed to be a parsnip
$270 is sad, but if u get the gift with purchase and sell that than that will probably bump the price down to around $170
Replyi bet the inside looks great
ReplyI hope it does
It looks better then the original, I hope it's worth it 😉
Reply$270, though? The inside better be good
ReplyI don't like the tree on the birthday stand. It looks basic
ReplyAgree 100%, The Party Tree was such an iconic feature of Hobbiton and this looks just looks terribad compared to the rest of the set
Funny enough it looks like the tree species from the movies. I like it
No. That tree is bad
Dangit I thought it was actually gonna be a reasonable price
ReplyI can't believe they raised the price
ReplyTariffs.. Lego, I'm sure, didn't want to
Buying the day it comes out
ReplyThis set must buy because i love bag end
Replythe price is a shame, is it definitely $270
ReplyIt was reported earlier that it would be $200, which would be great for this set. $270 is steep for the amount of pieces. I don't think the value is good but it's still a day one purchase for me.
ReplyI will buy a few for my lord of the rings Lego store!
ReplyAwesome!
ReplyWhat a fabulous set! I will definitely get this to go with Barad Dur and Rivendell! Looks phenomenal.
ReplyIn my experience any sets with a high mini figure count (name brand sets. Disney etc) the price is because of the mini figures and the builds are usually eh
ReplyThis sets epic!!
agree
ReplyWhat a disappointment. For something called the Shire I expected various houses. This is just Bag End, Bilbo's house,
ReplyDude that's what the roomer was!! It's always been called bag end!
Is it just me, or does it seem to small? I do really like lotr, but something is wrong!!
ReplyIt looks like a good size to me
It's looks huge what do you mean small?
looks fine, it's bigger than the 2012 version
sackville baggins the 8th and 9th minfigs it looks like
ReplyI think 8 and 9 are the proudfoots.
ProudFEET!!
I've heard there will be a special gift with purchase, what will it be?
ReplyIt's roomered to be smeagul and deagul in a boat fishing
Woooo Hooo! Can't wait!
ReplyI'm buying 3 of them!!!
ReplyI'm picking it up %100
ReplyMe to
Wow!!
ReplyApril 1st, looking forward to it
ReplyBro wish they would make helms deep. The Uruk Kia are so cool.
ReplyWeathertop! That would be a great kit!
Replyagreed
If it $250 it BETTER be big.
Replyfr
Literally just said the same thing, likely a hill front with Bagend in the back
ReplyI Guess it will be in the style of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Cottage - open back.
ReplyIt should not be so expensive
ReplyLego is a rich kids toy. The poors have to play paper.
Hopefully this will be awesome! My wife has out-maneuvered me for this set (I go to do Barad dur) so I will have to enjoy this one vicariously!
ReplyApril first release date
Replyum..... THE LONELY MOUNTAIN!!!!!!! make it the biggest set yet!!
ReplyHope they start releasing lord of the rings and hobbit stuff again I'd love to get my hands on some
ReplyThat's less than the Viking Village... I hope that 2000 is enough pieces to do it justice. I think it will necessitate an open back
ReplyAwesome!
ReplyProbably means we aren't getting all 13 dwarves, thats a shame. Sackville bagginses would make up for it though!
ReplyLEGO could put a higher price on this one and give us many of the minifigs!
Can't wait!!
ReplyCan't wait
ReplyYes please
ReplyMinas Tirith please...
ReplyYESSS
Look forward to it.
ReplyI'm excited for a slightly less expensive set so what more people will be able to afford it and show Lego that a full theme would sell very well
ReplyI still have the old Hobbiton set from 2012. I'm excited to see an updated version in the new year
ReplyLET'S GO
ReplyLooking forward to it.
