We finally have first details about the next new LEGO Lord of the Rings set, which will be releasing next year!
A big new LEGO set of Bag End, the Baggins' home in the Shire will be coming out on April 1st 2025!
Piece Count
While the price tag has yet to be revealed, a total of 2017 pieces are rumored to be included in the set.
Surprisingly less than in the Barad-Dur or Rivendell from this and last year. Both of which have around three times as many.
Lower Price Point
Going by its piece count, the new Bag End will probably cost somewhere around $180 to $250.
Which would make it the least expensive Lord of the Rings set since the relaunch of the theme in 2023, besides the BrickHeadz.
Old LEGO Bag End Set
So far we've only got one LEGO version of Hobbiton in 2012. Which was a play set based on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
New Minifigures
The new 2025 set however, will be releasing under the LEGO Icons line. But will most certainly be in Minifigure scale as well.
So we can expect lots of new Minifigures to be included. Among them possibly characters from both the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit!
- Set number: 10354
- Name: The Lord of the Rings: Bag End

Weathertop! That would be a great kit!
ReplyIf it $250 it BETTER be big.
ReplyLiterally just said the same thing, likely a hill front with Bagend in the back
ReplyI Guess it will be in the style of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Cottage - open back.
ReplyIt should not be so expensive
ReplyLego is a rich kids toy. The poors have to play paper.
Hopefully this will be awesome! My wife has out-maneuvered me for this set (I go to do Barad dur) so I will have to enjoy this one vicariously!
ReplyApril first release date
Replyum..... THE LONELY MOUNTAIN!!!!!!! make it the biggest set yet!!
ReplyHope they start releasing lord of the rings and hobbit stuff again I'd love to get my hands on some
ReplyThat's less than the Viking Village... I hope that 2000 is enough pieces to do it justice. I think it will necessitate an open back
ReplyAwesome!
ReplyProbably means we aren't getting all 13 dwarves, thats a shame. Sackville bagginses would make up for it though!
ReplyLEGO could put a higher price on this one and give us many of the minifigs!
Can’t wait!!

ReplyLook forward to it.
ReplyI’m excited for a slightly less expensive set so what more people will be able to afford it and show Lego that a full theme would sell very well
ReplyI still have the old Hobbiton set from 2012. I'm excited to see an updated version in the new year
ReplyLET'S GO
ReplyLooking forward to it.
