Very cheap looking. Looks worth maybe 39.99 tops. Church I agree or even department store.
ReplyI'm glad it's not just me. I was excited when I saw there was a new christmas set out but have been wondering why there would be a hot air balloon. I don't think it would do anything for my scene so far. I'm disappointed and I too would love a church.
ReplyDefinitely a pass on this one - so disappointing and juvenile. I was looking forward to more of a winter holiday theme. Decorated department store windows, carolers in the park, bookstore, city townhouse.
Reply"So juvenile" regarding a children's toy building block set. LOL
So it wasn't just a hot air balloon-- I kind of like this better. I love the whole postal system, especially the post box
ReplyWould have loved a church but this is pretty cool!
ReplyWas so excited waiting for this news of the new winter set, but I must say, what a disappointment. Nothing about hot air balloon makes me think of winter. I agree with the other comments and would love to see a church. Undecided if I will purchase, but I strongly doubt it.
ReplyIk kijk ernaar uit!
ReplyReally sad, it's not necessarily out of theme but... ain't waiting for it nor gonna get it.
ReplyVery disappointed. A village church would be an amazing addition to the winter village! What village does not have one? A church would fly off the shelves!
Reply100%!
Same, this would have been lovely.
Hard pass. How about a winter village bookstore? Or maybe a village church/chapel?
ReplyOr a chocolate shop?
So disappointed ☹️
ReplyNot really in keeping with the rest of the theme
ReplyMeh
ReplyWhere I live, in New Mexico, hot air balloons are huge because we have amazing weather year round. Yes people do hot air balloon rides in winter.
ReplyWell duh. But LEGO winter sets are all snow themed so……
ReplyTo the ones saying who does a hot air balloon in the winter. Believe it or not, most of the world doesn’t get super cold in the winter.
ReplyMan, this makes no sense. The train and train station were ones I passed on, but they made sense. This makes no sense. Where's the redo of the winter village market or whatever you call it?
ReplyIt makes no sense at all. Not a huge demand for hot air balloons in the winter
ReplyI’ve seen people complain about winter village sets in the past and never fully understood their reasoning as they’ve always held true to the theme (albeit sometimes more applicable to certain geographic regions). That being said, this one leaves me a bit confused. Are winter hot air balloon rides a thing? And if so, does it fit the rest of the line? Having not seen pics, I don’t want to jump to conclusions but this is the first winter village announcement where Ive been hesirant
