Just in time for Mario Day 2025, images of this year's big new LEGO Super Mario display set have finally been revealed!
The Standart Kart from Mario Kart will be releasing on May 15th for $169.99, and is already up for preorder on LEGO's website.

The LEGO model of the Kart measures 32cm/12.5in long as well as 22cm/8.5in high with the buildable Mario sitting inside.
Consisting of 1972 pieces in total, it comes with various interesting building techniques. Especially for Mario's cap and the front of the Kart.
It uses the snot technique which hides most of the studs, giving it a smooth look.
The set also includes an adjustable stand allowing the Kart to be displayed in various angles.

The snot technique has nothing to do with a smooth look. You can use the snot technique without hiding the studs, and you can hide all the studs without using the snot technique.
